LABOUR 03: CHILDCARE

noun

care for children provided by either the government, an organization, or a person, while parents are at work or absent for another reason

If you are missing an arm or a leg, an artificial limb can sometimes replace it. The device may help you perform daily activities such as walking, eating, or dressing.

Some artificial limbs allow the user to function nearly as well as before.

The artificial limb addresses the burdens a domestic worker may feel when she moves to the city to find work for a minimal amount of pay.

Often she has to leave her children in the care of other family members for long periods of time or commutes daily. In both scenarios, she does not spend as much time with her own family as she does with the family she works for.
